I love discovering hidden gems…
After a long but productive day at work, my friend Zahra and I went to Soho to treat ourselves. Once we got to Piccadilly Circus station, we decided to go to The Breakfast Club however our plans changed when we came across Randall and Daubin. Intrigued by the crabs and lobsters we saw through the window, we stepped inside and asked for a table for two.
We were immediately greeted by a warm and friendly waiter who saw us to our table and gave us the menu. A couple of minutes later, he approached us and asked if it would be ok for us to move as we were at a table meant for four people. Since a group of four arrived shortly after us, he asked if we’d mind moving as there was another table available suited for two. Once Zahra and I agreed to move, he immediately compensated us with two glasses of wine on the house.
We had excellent artisan bread rolls with dipping sauce while we waited for our food. I ordered spaghettini marinara and Zahra went for a Lobster roll. Loving the atmosphere we decided to stay for while to talk to each other and mingle with others. It was the perfect ending to our busy work day.
Although the restaurant is on the pricey side, I would recommend it to people who love fine dining with a casual and bubbly atmosphere. We experienced excellent customer service with amazing food – particularly seafood!
