Typically, the sun would be coming through the winter clouds, flowers blooming, announcing that it’s officially wedding season. However, that can’t be said for the British weather, as we are still in the colder temperature, with snow making an appearance. As the engagement is looming, it inevitably breeds the question, what do I wear to the engagement party.
With blue and silver being the dress code, it left me baffled on the outfit that would be appropriate for the party. Soon after, opening the invitation, and RSVPd to the event, I went on the web in search of the perfect attire. In my experience, engagement parties range from relaxed, to uber-formal, with locations from indoors to outdoors, on a beach or in a rented grande hall. Knowing it’s a Nigerian event, it kept me at the ease with choosing an outfit that is glam, classy and chic.
This number is a sure-fire way to stick with the dress code, looking classy and chic with its wrap over feature, figure flattering fit and navy slinky fabric. After all, there’s no need to get too dressed up for an engagement party, so this knee length dress is the perfect pick.
A big congratulations to the couple. May God continue to strengthen your union, wishing you both a life long laugh, love, happiness and success in your marriage. God Bless.
