It was truly a dream come true, wading the street of the homes to my favourite Disney characters, immersing in the hyper reality of the illusion Disneyland creates, shielding everyone from the harsh reality of the world. As per usual, whenever I have a place to visit I always carefully pair my outfit to match the scenery of the location, and Disneyland was no exception. Using Pinterest, and social media as a guide for my outfit choice, it was no brainer that I’d opt for the universal “uniform”, white top, blue jeans, trainers paired with the Disney’s ears. However, due to last minute mishaps, I paired my outfit with this fab shoes I received from Florentini + Baker.
Contrary to popular belief, there’s no limit of age to experience the magic of Disneyland Paris. Written by a twenty-something year woman, with no prior experience going to fantasy land, vicariously lived through people experience Disneyland via movies, and youtube, I was bound to take advantage of the rides, while skipping with kids with my Disney’s ear and singing along to the songs from the movies. For those that are secretly judging people with love for Disney movies, probably calling me, and others Tinkerbell that refuses to grow up, we are all children in God’s eye so let go of the mundane adult life and be a kid for once. It’s fun!.
This trip has me looking forward to planning a trip to Disney World Miami. Although I may not a fan of kids, I can see myself bringing my future husband and kids to experience the magic that is Disneyland. Hakuna Matata is my motto, it should be yours too.
